Safety & Consent
The Rules That Protect the Game
Financial domination without safety is not a dynamic — it is a risk. These standards are direct on purpose. Read them before your first conversation, and again before your first meeting.
Consent can be withdrawn
Anyone can end or pause any dynamic at any moment, for any reason, without explanation. A past agreement is not a present obligation. If someone argues with your withdrawal, report them.
Set personal financial limits
Decide your tribute ceiling before your first conversation and state it in writing. Your real life — rent, food, savings — is never part of the dynamic. A limit is a rule, not a challenge.
Never share banking passwords
No legitimate member will ever ask for your online banking credentials, card PIN or account access. There is no exception to this rule. Anyone who asks is committing fraud.
Never share verification codes
One-time codes sent to your phone or email protect your accounts. Sharing one can hand over your bank account, your email or your identity. Never share them with anyone, for any reason.
Protect home and workplace details
Your address, employer and daily routine are earned information, not introductory information. Keep them private until long-standing trust justifies otherwise — and often, not even then.
Use strong, unique passwords
Give your Findom Canada account a password used nowhere else, stored in a password manager. A unique password means a breach elsewhere never reaches here.
Recognize impersonation
Stolen photos, inconsistent stories, refusal to discuss expectations in writing. Ask detailed questions; genuine members welcome them. Reverse-image doubts and shifting details are reasons to disengage.
Recognize pressure and manipulation
Urgency, guilt, deadlines, escalating demands, sulking when you say no. Dominance is calm; pressure is panic wearing its clothes. The moment you feel rushed, slow down — or walk away.
Block and report suspicious accounts
Blocking is instant, silent and absolute. Reporting alerts a human review team and is never visible to the other member. You do not need proof — a pattern of discomfort is enough.
Keep early conversations on-platform
The platform's protections only work inside it. Members who push you to other apps or payment channels in the first messages are removing your safety net deliberately.
Take extra precautions before meeting in person
Meet in a public place, tell a trusted person where you will be, arrange your own transport and keep the first meeting short. A genuine member will not only accept these precautions — they will suggest them.
When fraud or coercion happens
If money was taken under false pretences or anyone threatens you, contact your bank immediately, report to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, and involve police where there are threats. Keep records of conversations.
A note on scope
Findom Canada provides connection tools and community standards, not legal, financial or medical advice. If a situation involves threats, fraud or coercion, contact your bank, the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre or local police — then report the account to us.
